Elbow Pain

Elbow pain

The elbow joint is made up of bone, cartilage, ligaments and fluid. The elbow joint moves via its muscles and tendons. When any of these structures is hurt or diseased, you may experience elbow pain.

Although elbow pain usually isn’t serious, it can affect your life because you use your elbow in so many ways.

Because the elbow is a complex joint that allows you to extend and flex your forearm and rotate your hand and forearm, you may find it difficult to describe what is causing your pain to your doctor.
